This 7-pc. doll set is handmade by a Russian artisan in the traditional style of Semyonovo village. A bright bouquet of flowers usually decorates these dolls. The early matryoshkas of Semenov were more in the spirit of old Russian painting traditions, the lines were more graphic. The largest doll (the mother) has 6 smaller ones inside. Carefully open each doll in the middle to reveal the entire family. Patterns, colors and shapes may vary slightly due to the fact that all authentic nesting dolls are handmade.
Materials: lime wood, water based paint, high gloss lacquer finish.
