This beautiful box was hand painted by the Russian artist "Silantieva" as an artistic and modern version of the famous Czech artist Alphonse Mucha. Mucha produced a flurry of paintings and theatre sets in what came to be known as the Art Nouveau style. Mucha's works frequently featured beautiful healthy young women in flowing vaguely Neoclassical looking robes, often surrounded by lush flowers which sometimes formed haloes behind the women's heads. The featured box is finely painted with an elegant touch of the classic beauty of Mucha's art and nicely covered with several leyers of clear lacquer. What a special and truly unique gift for anyone.

Materials: hand-made lacquer box, tempera paint, high gloss lacquer.
