This 3-pc. doll set is handmade by a Russian artisan in the traditional style of Semyonovo village. An apron is considered to be the main thing in painting of Semenovo. A bright bouquet of flowers usually decorates these dolls. The early matryoshkas of Semenov were more in the spirit of old Russian painting traditions, the lines were more graphic. The largest doll (the mother) has 2 smaller ones inside. The set makes a great party favor gift.
