Buckwheat Cereal (Kasha)

2 cups buckwheat
4 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon butter

Boil water with over medium heat. In a meanwhile prepare the buckwheat by washing it throughout in a large bowl under the stream of warm water. As soon as water boils, put the buckwheat in it along with some salt and boil for 15-20 minutes. When water boils again, reduce the heat and cover a pot with a lid. Simmer for additional 15 minutes or until water completely evaporates and buckwheat becomes soft and increases about two times of its size. Remove from heat, add butter and let it stand for about 5 minutes before serving it.
